The Chinatown Chicago is a perfect example of an American Chinatown, located in the Armor Square community area in Chicago, Illinois. Centered on Cermak and Wentworth Avenues, the neighborhood is ethnic-Chinese. By 2000, there were at least 68,000 Chinese living in the neighborhood. It is the second largest Chinese neighborhood in the country, when it comes to the number of people living and working in the community.

The neighborhood provides ample opportunities for the visitors to get interested in the various attractions there. There are dozens of Chinese and Cantonese restaurants and bakeries to binge at. There are traditional Chinese bookstores and gift stores that invite the fathom of many visitors. On special occasions, which are marked by the Chinese calendar, one may be lucky enough to witness a colorful parade.

There are many historic and culturally significant attractions in the neighborhood. The Nine Dragon Wall is one of the premier attractions with immense importance for the Chinese people. The Chinatown Mural, which shows the history of Chinese immigrants in the U.S., is an equally important prospect to visit. The Chinatown Square has numerous sculptures of animals that make the Chinese Zodiac.

The Chinese-American Museum of Chicago has beautiful memorabilia and pictures that mark the history of the Chicago Chinatown. Awaiting reconstruction, the museum had caught fire in the year 2009. The other significant attractions in Chicago Chinatown are the Pui Tak Center, a Chicago Landmark, and the Ping Tom Memorial Park, situated along the Chicago River.
