Each year, Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, cooperated with Chicago Office of Tourism and Culture, is proud to present the exciting and inspiring Chicago SummerDance festival to Chicagoans, an 11-week FREE dancing celebration highlighting 1-hour dance lessons by respected teachers, and 2-hour of live music and dancing.
In this summer, the event has come to its 15th year, with a host of dancing lessons, activities and performances at the Spirit of Music Garden in Grant Park. This season's festival takes place on each Thursday to Sunday, July 7 through September 18. This week, the event is drawing to the end with respective celebrations on Thursday, September 15 to Sunday, September 18, when the weather is moderate, comparatively cool and clear.
