Chicago Churches

St. Mary of the Angels Church- It is a beautiful church where People for Chicago IL travel can enjoy a mass. The church's construction was finished in 1920 mainly by the Polish immigrants. It has polished stained glass windows, a terrific Archangel St. Michael's statue and a beautiful Pieta. The Church's basilica has a beautiful painting of God, Jesus Christ, Mary Queen of the angels and the Holy Ghost. The alter area's left and right sides have large pieces of artwork. The church is architecturally stunning and is a tribute to the Catholic Churches Chicago. Masses in the church are given in English, Spanish and Polish on Sundays.

Old St. Patrick's Church- This church has an impressive and austere exterior and an uplifting and colourful interior. After crossing the entranceway, the church is beautiful, airy, open and colourful. The wall paintings have been restored and the colourful Celtic knots weave their way around the arching and high ceiling beams. This church is worth a visit for Chicago IL travel tourists with its beautiful wall paintings and stained glasses.

Holy Name Cathedral Parish- Commonly known as the Holy Name Cathedral, it is the main church of the Roman Catholic Churches Chicago. Dating from 1874, the church has impressive Late Victorian Gothic limestone exteriors. The elevation has textured bronze door and the corner near the intersection of Superior and State has a single tower spire. From inside, this church is huge and has incredulous sculpting and design of the marbles and other carvings and engravings.

Saint Clement Church- The church is architecturally fabulous with a heavily Byzantine architectural style. The Church's exterior is a combination of the Greek, Roman and Byzantine style and the interior consists of many iconographic images in Byzantine style. The church does great community works which include, affordable housing, HIV/AIDS outreach and sponsorship of families displaced in wars.

St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church- Constructed in the nineteenth century's later part, it is one of the oldest Churches Chicago. Also considered as one of the Chicago landmarks it is known for its beautiful architecture and the Oktoberfest/Kid fest. Admission in the Oktoberfest is only $5 and it includes some decently priced amazing foods. This church is also Chicago's only church offering Mass in German.

St. Vincent De Paul Church- This is also a beautiful church in Chicago having amazing stained glass windows, where a lot of work has been done for preserving the Church's beauty. Those who find it hard relating to the sermons can attend the student mass here on Sundays at 9:30 p.m. The church serves meals to the homeless everyday.
