The Shedd Aquarium is one of the finest cultural attractions in the city of Chicago which is listed in the National Historic Landmark. The aquarium is a home to several species of mammals, fishes, reptiles, birds and other aquatic animals.
It is located on the coast of Lake Michigan and is open for operation on all days except on holidays like May Day and Memorial Day. The aquarium hosts several mammal shows and also displays aquatic souvenirs in the gift shops.
