Yes, for sure. The Chanute Air Force Base is located near to Rantoul, Illinois near Chicago. It covers an area of 2125 acres and the main purpose of the base is to provide technical and military training to the Air Force Officers, civilian employees and airmen apart from defence personnel too. However the base has closed now due to the effect of BRAC in 1993. The various operating units under the base are: Army Air Corps Technical School, 3502d AAF Base Unit, Naval Technical Training Unit Chanute UNK etc.
