New Buffalo is one of the good towns on the southeast corner of Lake Michigan. This place is an hour to the east of Chicago, IL. The Great Lakes is usually good for surfing in winters.
Fall is the best season in this place with head-high waves. The public beach and harbor of this place is quite popular in summer. Kids on boogies, skim-boards and surfboards are common. Most experienced surfers can be seen at the south jetty.
New Buffalo has become the city of Surf Central as thousands of visitors come to this place and rent boards and wetsuits for surfing on the waves.
