The Shedd Aquarium was constructed in 1930 and is a popular premier aquarium of the United States. The most important feature of this premier aquarium is the impressive and diverse underwater life collection. The museum is located at the "1200 South Lake" in Shore Drive in Chicago.

The aquarium is open on all days of the week. People can visit the aquarium from 9 am and 5pm during week days and on weekends the timings would be extended o 6 pm.

The aquarium's Caribbean beef is described as the centrepiece and is a circular tank with a capacity of 90,000 gallon. The inhabitants of the tank include tropical fishes, sharks, string rays etc.
