Local baseball team in Chicago, IL
Chicago White Sox is one of the popular baseball teams located in Chicago, IL since from 1900. The local team was established in 1894 and plays in Central Division of American League. Earlier the sports team was known Sioux City Cornhuskers and underwent several name changes, finally called by Chicago White Sox on 1904.
The baseball team is prominently known as South Siders by sports enthusiasts and fans. Currently the sports team is owned by Eddie Einhorn & Jerry Reinsdorf which is managed by Ozzie Guillen. Recently on May, 2009 a DVD based on memories of this team was released through Shout Factory that includes history of Chicago White Sox team and interviews of greatest players in history.
