Under the law of Illinois, the genology records are those birth certificates which are older than 75 years, marriage certificates which are older than fifty years and death certificates which are older than twenty years.

These records are issued by the clerk's office and are generally regarded as non certified documents. The cost of the genealogy record is 15 dollars and 4 dollars for each supplementary copy. If the requesting person is unsure about the date of birth death or marriage and want the authorities to search for more than one year, one should include one dollar for each added year to be searched. This search can be done up to ten years.

The Beaver Trail is a 9.4 mile long trail. It goes through a lot of natural landscapes covering hills and lakes. It is a non loop trail and goes from the Camp Cardiz to the Rim Rock National Recreation Trail.

If you are interested in camping make sure that it is done before you reach the Pound Hollow Lake or any of its sections. Once you reach that place camping is strictly not allowed till the very end of the trail except at the Pine Ridge Camp ground.

The trail has sites like the huge beech trees which are Mercian and also the giant cliffs that make you look ant like. The trail is marked by white triangles which are visible on the trees along the route and also on posts which are not very regular but are present at some places.
