The field museum offers many types of field-trip programs like the featured 3D movie, Sue, mammoths and mastodons and many others. It is located on the lake shore drive in Chicago. Their operating hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM every day.

They have different kinds of passes available at different prices depending upon the field trips that you have chosen. For the all access fieldtrips you end up paying around $42.00 and for the discovery pass you pay only $25.00 per head.

This park is one of the most exciting of hiking destinations of the areas around Chicago. This park is known for its natural beauty and the riches include prairies, wetlands and craftily designed wooded areas. The trail is both peaceful and enchanting.

It is mostly occupied during the summer days and is divided into four connecting parts going to north and south ward directions. The two loops that go towards the south emerge into the heavily occupied and busy areas of the China O' State Park and will offer you the view of the Grass Lake when you are going through the dense and hilly forests.

The other two loops are known for their views of the hilltops, prairies and also the magnificent river along side. There are various places from where you can start this hike but if you go in from near the park office you will see the most brilliant of sights and it shall be a memorable trek.
