Nestled in the Prairie Preservation District of South Loop neighborhood, the Wheeler Mansion hotel is within walking distances from Chicago's McCormick Place Convention Center. It's a relatively small property complete with only 7 Standard Rooms, 2 Junior Suites, and 2 Suites. The hotel is small, but complete. You can count on these eleven rooms for all the modern conveniences of a larger property. Best of all, Wheeler Mansion values each guest's satisfaction more than anything else.

The overall ambience is homely comfortable - rooms with abundantnatural lights - under renovations currently - easy to get bumped or overbooked
Their staff really care about guests - fragrance sprayed all over the rooms - rooms are small but complete - the noise of air conditioning is loud

Definitely would go back for its top quality - custom services with attentions on details - rooms were not ready until 5:00 PM sometimes
Book early to avoid getting overbooked - always sleep like a baby in their beds - great place to spice up your otherwise boring trip - thelobby feels kind of like a nightclub

Had to dress like college prep here - great location right in front of the loop - old fashioned decor - extremely informative and helpful stuff
Got there for a wedding, btw, excellent wedding facilities and services - hard to stop a cab - the only complaint was the preppy dress code
