The Chicago theater is the landmark theater of Chicago which was built in the year 1921. The theater is formerly known as the Balaban and Katz Chicago theater. The theater is located in the loop area of Chicago. This is the dominant movie theater in the city.

The theater is home to performing arts like stage plays, magic shows, comedy shows, music shows and political or public speeches. The Chicago Theater was added to the National Register of historic Places in the year 1979. The theater is a seven story building which is 60 feet wide.

The seating of the Chicago Theater is classified into three levels such as main floor, Mezzanine Level, and Loge. The loge is separated by three levels like front balcony, middle balcony and rear balcony. The theater will be opened from Monday to Friday from 12.00pm to 6.00pm. The venue of Chicago Theater is available for public meetings and private events.

There are some rules and regulations should be followed while going to the events in the theater. The cameras and recording devices are prohibited inside the theater.
