The International House was founded in the year 1932. It's a program centre which is capable of housing as many as 486 undergraduates, graduates and intern from all over the world. The mission of this House is to promote love and friendship among all the cultures. The dynamic environment in the House allows the exchange of ideas as well as knowledge.

The International House $30 million renovation is almost done and soon it will have better guest accommodation, meeting and conference rooms spaces for the next batches of students and scholars. Programs and events are arranged in the House, quite frequently. You must be affiliated to the University of Chicago or any other Chicago college and should also be at least 18 years old to be eligible to reside in the International House.
