Lifeline Theater

Lifeline Theatre owns its expertise in original literary adaptations for Chicago IL travel. Founded in 1983 in Chicago, Illinois, the theatre came into being by four Northwestern University graduates. This theatre provisions its viewers with 99 seats, rehearsal and office space, a scene shop, and costume, prop and scenery storage.

It has had the honour of hosting many novel and original crafts in the past, which even today offers entertainment to over 25000 people every season from September through August.

Lifeline Theatre conducts Mainstage plays as well as Kidseries plays. The Picture of Dorian Gray - revolving around the protagonist's acquisition of supernatural power - has been the leading Mainstage play, which has also gathered popularity for its 'crystal clear, ideally structured adaptation' and shaping a 'modern classic of its own'.

On the other hand, Duck for President has been a very appealing musical show for kids, where a young and intelligent duck administers and is put in charge for running an office, not long when he starts running the country!

The Lifeline Theatre has been a centre for education for over 5000 students that enroll each year to its special weekday performances and extensive study guides. The administration relies greatly on bringing books to lively enactments, especially for its KidsSeries. It also exercises the art of imparting education through several camps and events.

For instance, Winter and Summer Drama Camp encourages children to understand the concepts of theatre and propel their self confidence and self esteem. The theatre celebrates events and conducts workshops on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Presidents' Day; and also hosts parties and Book Club events for toddlers during the summers.
