The Palmer House Hilton Hotel is another magnificent historic hotel beautifying the skyline of Chicago. The hotel is designed in the Beaux Arts style. The 25 storied hotel that is over 80 years old has changed with time to give their guests the very best of modern amenities but at the same time retaining the rich old decor and charm. Originally built by Palmer Potter in the 1920's the hotel was purchased by Conrad Hilton in 1945. Hotel Burnham although opened only in 1999 it does have a historical relevance as it is in the Reliance building that dates back to 1895.
The Blackstone Hotel that dates back to 1908 and the Whistle Stop Inn built in 1889 are some of the other places holding historical significance.
