Without a doubt, the most famous element of Grant Park is the Buckingham Fountain. This gigantic fountain is one of the most recognized landmarks of Chicago. Carved sea horses surround the fountain. While the fountain stands as an ode to the Lake Michigan, the sea horses are symbolic of the different states that border the beautiful lake.
