Chicago is the largest city in Illinois, which was founded in 1833 near a portage between the Mississippi river and the Great Lakes. This place has many tourist destinations to visit and one of the must visit place is the Museum of Science and Industry. It is a popular museum in Chicago adjacent to Lake Michigan. In a survey conducted in the year 2006, this museum was the fourth largest cultural attraction in Chicago.
The Beaux-Arts building of the museum was principally designed by Charles C. Atwood, and was built in the year 1893 for conducting World's Columbian Exposition, currently standing as the Palace of Fine Arts. Accommodations near the museum include a number of hotels like the Wooded Isle Inc Sui, The Beadle Residences, University Quarters Bed & Breakfast and Chicago South Loop Hotel and so on.
